About Us |
Ted Welsch,
Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of
Illinois. He has a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the
Illinois School of Professional Psychology-Chicago. Prior to
establishing CCCA, he worked at a community mental health
center, at a parish in a western suburb of Chicago, a
psychiatric hospital, a nursing home. In addition, Ted conducted
court ordered psychological assessments and provided counseling
services to adolescents at a juvenile detention center.
He has experience
working with couples and families as well as adults and
adolescents in individual therapy. Ted also has experience
providing psychological assessments and evaluations. Before
becoming a psychologist, Ted worked in various capacities in the
construction field. He enjoys a fulfilling family life with his
wife and four children.
Ted
places a priority on keeping up with current developments in
areas of interest in the field of psychology. He maintains
membership in the American Psychological Association, the
Association for the Development of the Person-Centered Approach,
the World Association for Person-Centered and Experiential
Psychotherapies, and the APA Division of Psychologists in
Independent Practice, Division of Humanistic Psychotherapies and
the Division of Clinical Psychology.
