9 a.m. Supporting Your Student's Holistic Development
Meet staff members from Reed's Student Life division and learn about the resources and services available to students.
10:30 a.m. Convocation
Attend the formal welcoming of students from every corner of the world and the parents and families who will support them from afar during their time at Reed.
1 p.m. The Reed Classroom
Learn more about how Reed faculty structure their classes to foster an education of the richest sort and what it means to be a faculty scholar dedicated to teaching.
4 p.m. Lifelong Support for Your Student Through Alumni Connections
Discover how alumni connections enhance your student's experience at Reed and beyond. Bring your students and join fellow families for a relaxed and informal meet-and-mingle that offers a window into how the college cultivates lifelong relationships with alumni.
5 p.m. President's Reception for Parents & Guardians
Closing reception for Parent & Family Orientation. Take this opportunity to mingle with Reed College President Audrey Bilger and other members of the faculty and staff. This reception is not for students (who should be eating dinner before their next session begins). This reception is for non-student family members only.
